InfoUK.com to Launch in January 2008; Database compilation begins on all U.K. businesses

infoUSA®(NASDAQ:IUSA), the leading provider of proprietary business and consumer databases, sales leads, direct marketing, and email marketing, today announced it will be opening in early January 2008, a new Manchester (England)-based firm to compile a database of all U.K. businesses. Similar to the compilation process ofinfoUSA, extensive details, including staff numbers, manager names and contact information, will be collected and then updated annually via a projected 2.5 million phone calls.
ORC International, aninfoUSA company, is heading up the hiring and infrastructure set-up. "The companies will operate as separate entities, while enjoying some synergies, such as IT support and shared servers. With final commitments being wrapped up, we will quickly build the office to at least 50 team members. The key appointment is our General Manager, who we should be able to announce very shortly," comments Richard Cornelius, Managing Director of ORC International.
