DoubleClick Performics (www.performics.com), the performance marketing division of DoubleClick Inc., today announced it added 52 new affiliate marketing clients in the third quarter of 2007.
“Affiliate marketing is an established digital marketing channel and the original performance-based medium, but that doesn’t mean it’s not growing. In fact, it’s thriving,” said Chris Henger, vice president of affiliate marketing for DoubleClick Performics. “This momentum affirms that we’re delivering on our promise to bring innovation to the industry and provide unsurpassed customer service. Q4 is a critical and exciting time for advertisers and publishers alike, and we’re confident we’ll continue to deliver results and outpace the industry.”
This growth in DoubleClick Performics’ affiliate marketing business includes existing affiliate programs transitioning to its network. Just some of the advertisers joining the DoubleClick Performics roster in the third quarter include 6th Avenue Electronics, LensCrafters and XM Radio.
As further evidence of the renewed interest in the affiliate marketing channel overall, DoubleClick Performics was pleased to add many other advertisers embracing the affiliate channel for the first time. Some of the advertisers new to affiliate marketing Crabtree & Evelyn, Diapers.com/1800 Diapers, Guess, Lee Jeans, Oh Baby! Inc. and others.
“Affiliate marketing programs are more customized than ever; they come in all shapes and sizes,” added Henger. “We can tailor performance marketing programs to meet the goals of any advertiser by delivering a steady stream of online customers.”
