Thursday, 06 September 2007

Petsky Prunier has announced the sale of TenUnited and Direct Impact to Engauge, a new marketing solutions agency created by Halyard Capital in partnership with renowned industry leader Stan Rapp.

In the launch of this new agency model, Engauge screened more than 100 marketing services companies. It acquired TenUnited, a leading brand marketing agency based in Columbus, Ohio, and Direct Impact, a leading database marketing, business intelligence and analytics solutions provider based in Austin, Texas. These initial members of the Engauge consortium bring together insightful analytics, captivating brand advertising, interactive capabilities, and accountable measurement.

Stan Rapp is a direct marketing icon who has twice served as Chairman/CEO of global advertising agencies with revenues in the hundreds of millions of dollars. As Chairman of Engauge, he joins forces with Halyard Capital (a private equity fund with more than $500 million of capital under management focused on investing in media, communications and business services companies) in creating a unique marketing solutions agency that offers a proprietary behavioral-based approach to planning.

With the combination of TenUnited’s qualitative capabilities in consumer insight and brand essence and Direct Impact’s state-of-the-art quantitative data analytics, these premier acquisitions are representative of how Engauge will bring together best-of-class, specialized marketing entrepreneurs operating within the singular vision of one brand name, one bottom line and one vision.

A team from Petsky Prunier, led by Michael Petsky and Sanjay Chadda, served as exclusive financial advisor to TenUnited and Direct Impact and initiated, structured and negotiated the transactions on behalf of the companies.
