Money Mailer, a quality leader in the direct mail industry since 1979, has announced that Klaus Schlechner has been promoted to the position of vice president of marketing. Schlechner re-joined Money Mailer in April 2007 as director and special assistant to the CEO.
In 2001, Schlechner headed the Field Marketing Department for Money Mailer. For the past two years, he worked at Young & Rubicam/Wunderman where he led strategic marketing efforts for Jaguar and Land Rover of North America, including interactive marketing efforts.
“Klaus is a seasoned marketing professional and in a short time since re-joining Money Mailer, has had a significant impact on our newly structured marketing organization,” said Steven Gray, COO of Money Mailer. “Klaus’ energy and strategic thought leadership are key strengths. I am excited about Money Mailer's future with Klaus at the helm of our marketing efforts."
In his new role, Schlechner will oversee the various departments within the company's marketing organization, including Marketing Analytics, Marketing Communications and Product Development.
“I’m honored to have a seat at the table where the highest level of strategic planning and execution for the company takes place,” Schlechner said. “I look forward to growing Money Mailer’s market share, brand awareness and overall marketing effectiveness."
