Gartner Places Harte-Hanks Trillium Software in 'Leaders' Quadrant For Data Quality Tools
Tuesday, 10 July 2007
Trillium Software, a business of Harte-Hanks, Inc., and leading enabler of Total Data Quality solutions, has announced it has been positioned in the "leaders" quadrant of Gartner, Inc.’s Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools, 2007 report. [Source: Gartner Research “Magic Quadrant for Data Quality Tools, 2007.” Ted Friedman, Andreas Bitterer. June 2007.] Data quality software solution providers are evaluated based on completeness of vision and ability to execute.
According to the Gartner report, "leaders" in the market demonstrate strength across a complete range of data quality functionality, including profiling, parsing, standardization, matching, validation and enrichment. They exhibit a clear understanding and vision for where the market is headed, including recognition of non-customer data quality issues and the delivery of enterprise-level data quality implementations. Leaders have an established market presence, significant size and a multinational presence (directly or as a result of a parent company).
"We believe being positioned in the 'leaders' quadrant by Gartner validates our strategic focus on application-agnostic data quality solutions and our ability to meet the evolving business needs of customers – two imperatives for any organization looking to partner with us for the long term," said Len Dubois, vice president, marketing, for Trillium Software at Harte-Hanks. "The Trillium Software System can be used with most database, TELL tool or analytic applications of leading business intelligence providers – it is not tied architecturally to any one specific platform. This allows any organization with plans for implementing data governance strategies, master data management or enterprise-level compliance initiatives to execute successfully on that vision."
