hawthorne direct, the direct response TV advertising agency, has named Lisa Diener office manager. Timothy R. Hawthorne, founder, chairman and executive creative director of hawthorne direct said, “hawthorne direct welcomes Lisa Diener to our team."
Diener is overseeing the management, maintenance and coordination of hawthorne direct’s facilities, shipping, travel and reception related responsibilities. She supports all departments with the organization and retention of records; supports, coordinates and manages various company related projects and activities; supervises purchasing of office supplies, furniture and equipment; and coordinates telephone and security systems and tenant and satellite lease activities.
Diener was most recently with Books Are Fun of Fairfield, for three years, serving as the assistant to the vice president of book purchasing. In this position, she provided primary support for the vice president of book purchasing, she facilitated product purchasing, correspondence with publishers and coordinated travel. She assisted in the implementation and expansion of new business development and pilot programs. She initiated new procedures and updated workflow processes.
Diener also has four years experience as office manager and project specialist for Cambridge Investment Research, Fairfield. She purchased all office supplies, coordinated the archival and destruction of documents and was a point of contact for the facility team. She coordinated administrative workshops and assisted with Cambridge’s national conference. She also worked with the company’s president on oil partnership communications.
Diener will work out of hawthorne direct’s headquarters in Fairfield. She resides in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
