infoUSA, a leading provider of proprietary business and consumer databases, sales leads, direct marketing, and e-mail marketing, announced it has been rated by Selling Power magazine as the 4th best company to sell for. infoUSA came in fourth in the rankings, which were published in the magazine's November/December 2006 issue. Selling Power has compiled the rankings annually for the past six years.

The magazine's corporate researchers focus mainly on companies with sales forces of 500 or more people when compiling the data. They send an extensive survey to the companies' top sales executives, training managers and HR managers to request information important to prospective sales professionals. This data is combined with independent research to determine the rankings.

The rankings focus on three key areas: compensation (salary, incentive pay, pension, health, and the availability of a company car), training (product knowledge and selling skills), and career mobility (performance reviews and turnover/promotions). The data is intended to give people entering the sales field an idea of where to begin their employment search.
