Acxiom Launches New Corporate Branding Campaign
Thursday, 07 December 2006

Acxiom Corporation has launched the most comprehensive corporate branding campaign in the company’s history. Acxiom’s new integrated brand marketing campaign, which includes print and online advertising, marketing materials, internal communications, and strategic public relations programs, will also feature the company’s new theme line — “We make information intelligent.”

“As Acxiom has evolved over the past several years, we’ve become much more than a data and database marketing provider, and this theme line represents what Acxiom is today,” said Company Leader Charles D. Morgan. “We’re now a global company that can transform data into actionable business intelligence, and nobody else in the world does it as well as we do.”

According to Morgan, Acxiom has significantly expanded its capabilities, including adding digital and risk mitigation solutions, expanding its European operations and helping clients achieve real-time enterprise data management.

“We are a very different company today than we were in the past, and with that comes a new look and positioning,” said Morgan. “With the launch of this campaign, we hope to reinforce Acxiom’s position as the world’s leading enterprise information solution provider.”

According to Richard K. Howe, Acxiom’s marketing organization leader, the campaign will establish clarity and brand equity for Acxiom through the consistent visual representation of the distinctive “X” in the Acxiom logo. The “X” has been a signature graphic in the logo since the early 1980s when the company was called CCX Network, Inc.

“This is a natural extension of the logo, which already emphasizes the ‘X’ as the unique feature in the name. The ‘X’ will become the icon for Acxiom that will continue for years to come,” Howe said. “This is a very exciting time for Acxiom as we recognize the importance of a strong brand in today’s business world.”
