Harte-Hanks, Inc. announces that Provide Commerce, has selected Harte-Hanks Postfuture as its primary provider of e-mail marketing services, and will use the Harte-Hanks Postfuture Enterprise Edition, Version 5.0, e-mail messaging platform for its broadcast, automated and triggered e-mail programs across multiple brands.

Harte-Hanks will handle e-mail marketing for all of Provide Commerce's fresh-cut flower and gourmet food brands, which include ProFlowers, Shari's Berries, Cherry Moon Farms, Uptown Prime, and Secret Spoon.

"E-mail is a vital interaction point for each of our brands, and how we optimize each customer relationship," said Simon Leach, vice president of customer retention, Provide Commerce. "Our e-mail messaging must be a seamless part of our customer dialogue, and our e-mail service provider must deliver superior performance. We chose Harte-Hanks Postfuture for its thorough understanding of the e-mail channel, which is evident in its proven, built-in 'best practices' for deliverability, campaign testing and subscription management."

"The Harte-Hanks Postfuture team and platform are also responsive and easy to work with – which allow us more time to perfect our customer communication strategy, and less time on mastering technical issues," Leach said.

"Brands require marketplace solutions that help them optimize their customer relationships at every interaction point, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and generate returns," said Kathy Calta, corporate officer and senior vice president, Harte-Hanks. "When a brand heavily relies on the e-commerce channel, e-mail serves as a critical component of its customer optimization strategy.

Provide Commerce's selection of Harte-Hanks Postfuture Enterprise Edition, Version 5.0, is significant. We've sought to design an e-mail platform that tackles marketers' current concerns with relevance, deliverability and performance. By enabling 'best practices' and automated e-mail testing, Provide Commerce can deliver both better customer experiences and better return."
