Lyris and Alibaba.com Team up to Improve E-mail Communication to Chinese and International Members

Lyris® Technologies provider of e-mail marketing solutions and subsidiary of J.L. Halsey (OTCBB:JLHY), has announced that Alibaba.com, a leading online B-to-B marketplace for global trade, will use Lyris' e-mail marketing solution, ListManager, to deliver e-mail campaigns to both their Chinese and international members.
The collaboration will address the unique challenges of managing global marketing campaigns from China, as well as measuring and tracking the e-mail data of more than two million registered Alibaba.com users from over 200 countries and territories. More than 500,000 people visit the site every day, most of them global buyers and importers looking to find and trade with sellers in China and other major manufacturing countries.

Alibaba.com manages and tracks a wide range of customized e-mail marketing programs to deliver timely, relevant and personalized messages to millions of users in both Chinese and English. Using Lyris ListManager, Alibaba has the ability to personalize and send communications based on a combination of user segments and behavior and then track performance, from e-mail send to conversion.
