Renée Mezzanotte, senior vice president and account group director for DMW Worldwide LLC, announced that the agency has promoted Allegra Craig to communications specialist, and Frank Iacono to director, interactive marketing.
In her new role, Allegra Craig will have primary responsibility for all of the agency’s event marketing and public relations efforts. Additionally, she will continue to lend her support to new business initiatives.
“Over the past year, Allegra’s contributions to event marketing have been nothing less than exceptional,” said Mezzanotte. “This year alone, thanks to Allegra’s keen organizational and vendor management skills, DMW will participate in more than a dozen targeted industry conferences and exhibits — an activity that represents an important avenue for growth.”
For the past four years, Craig has also been the lead organizer of the agency’s annual Direct Marketing Conference for Independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans.
“In addition to her skill in managing events, Allegra is tenacious, yet gracious, in pursuing and facilitating public relations opportunities for DMW,” continued Mezzanotte. “She is an asset to our work in raising our industry profile.”
Frank Iacono was hired last fall to head up DMW’s growing interactive offering. He has since supported a number of DMW clients in various categories — health, insurance, commercial, and non-profit — as well as serving as the agency’s Webmaster.
“Frank has been universally involved in all aspects of interactive media, creating microsites and launching e-mail campaigns to revamping server platforms and offering thought leadership through speaking engagements for clients in our Pennsylvania and Massachusetts offices,” explained Hunter. “Frank is the right person to lead the continued rapid expansion of the agency’s interactive capability.”
Prior to coming on board at DMW, Iacono was Web content editor for IKON Office Solutions, Inc., where he managed more than 250 e-channel marketing projects. He is well versed in the creation and management of Websites, HTML e-mail campaigns, online product catalogs, Webinars, surveys, promotional ads, online media planning and buying, and search optimization marketing campaigns. He has developed, implemented, and executed integrated marketing communications to build online and brand awareness and generate leads by driving qualified traffic to Websites.
