Merkle Hires Craig Dempster as Corporate Vice President of Content Solutions

Merkle, a database marketing agency, announced that Craig Dempster has joined its executive team as corporate vice president. In this role, Dempster will lead the Content Solutions group in its efforts to further establish and expand the market presence of Merkle's proprietary data product offerings, DataSource and CreditSource, which are used by major corporations and nonprofits across the U.S. to effectively acquire and retain the best customers and donors. Dempster will also lead and manage the expansion of Merkle's information brokerage services.
Prior to joining Merkle, Dempster held the title of senior vice president of direct sales at Experian Marketing Services, where he was responsible for overseeing the development, account management activities and database marketing initiatives for Fortune 100-ranked companies and nonprofit clients. Earlier in his career with Experian, Dempster served in various managerial roles, including vice president of data licensing for InSource, Experian's flagship informational offering. Prior to that, Dempster was employed by Metromail, a data and database analytics services bureau that was acquired by Experian in 1998.
