Silverpop CEO Bill Nussey Honored in BtoB Magazine's 'Who's Who' Special Edition
Wednesday, 12 July 2006
Bill Nussey, CEO of Silverpop, an e-mail marketing service provider, was recognized by BtoB magazine for his leadership and successes at delivering best-in-class products and services to marketers.
The magazine's annual special report on "Who's Who in B-to-B" recognizes individuals who "consistently perform at the top of their game." BtoB identified 100 individuals from 11 categories. Nominations were submitted by readers, marketing organizations, industry experts and the magazine's editorial staff.
BtoB selected one individual in each category to profile, based on outstanding accomplishments over the past year. In the e-mail category, Nussey was selected as the top CEO. The article stated of Nussey: "In a world where most of Silverpop's competitors have been snatched up by bigger players, he remains committed to forging partnerships to strengthen his company's value to customers as opposed to becoming another in a long line of acquired e-mail companies."
In order to provide clients with the flexibility to select services that best meet their individual needs, Nussey has steered Silverpop toward partnerships rather than adding products and services to the company's offerings through mergers and acquisitions. For example, Silverpop has established an agreement with Abacus, the leading provider of cooperative data, data management and analytical services. And earlier this year, Silverpop announced partnerships with the four top Web analytics companies - Coremetrics, Omniture, WebSideStory and WebTrends.
"Our clients are sophisticated online marketers who demand the best solutions to meet their individual needs," Nussey said. "Our relationships with these major companies helps streamline the integration of data to power highly successful e-mail marketing campaigns that generate high returns."
He said Silverpop will continue to identify partnerships to enable the company to offer customers integrated services from top solution providers.
Nussey has received numerous other recognitions, including the Direct Marketing Association's Marketing Technology Council's "Award of Excellence," and was named "The Most Influential Consultant in the World" by Consulting Magazine. He is the author of the book "The Quiet Revolution In Email Marketing," offering interactive marketers advice on utilizing e-mail as a uniquely effective channel for developing customer relationships.
