Viewpoint Corporation, an internet marketing technology company, introduced the Unicast InVision Ad Suite, the second and most recent offering in its Internet Marketing Technology (IMT) Product Series.

The InVision Ad Suite features distinct custom ad formats that offer a rich user experience, with greater interactivity than standard ad units, providing improved performance and better brand engagement for customers.

The initial InVision product offering is the Webmercial, a rich custom ad format that allows marketers to cost effectively leverage their video assets in ways that take advantage of the interactive qualities of the web. Using Viewpoint internet marketing technologies, a TV commercial is enhanced with interactive web features including the creation of clickable hot spots to highlight products, and click-to-buy functionality that drops users directly onto the selling site. Moreover, Webmercials are designed with special visual enhancements such as click-to-full screen to provide a more immersive customer experience. The Webmercial also includes the Pass It On feature, providing a very important viral element further enhancing ROI for marketing campaigns.

"The Webmercial provides an opportunity for marketers to realize significant cost benefits by versioning digital assets and making them more relevant and interactive for online shoppers," said Jason McKay, vice president and general manager of Unicast. "In addition, the marketer can maintain consistency of the messaging and branding across multiple media."

Viewpoint's IMT Product Series integrates three core technologies including the Viewpoint Media Player, browser-based marketing applications, and the Unicast Ad Platform. The integration of these technologies truly provides a unique value proposition for Viewpoint and its customers delivering engaging online advertising faster with more measurable results.

"Until recently, broadcast commercials were not utilized by marketers to drive commerce on the web," said Patrick Vogt, CEO of Viewpoint. "E-commerce will continue to grow this year and marketers must leverage the inherent qualities of the internet to be successful. What's more, consumers now surf the Internet while watching television, instant messaging their friends, and talking on the phone. We are living in a multi tasking world, and advertising needs to be more integrated, consistent, and engaging across all media to truly get the message across. The Webmercial is a product built to address these marketing challenges."
