Liz Claiborne Inc. Names Jill Granoff Group President

Liz Claiborne Inc. has announced the appointment of Jill Granoff as Group President, Direct-to- Consumer. In this position, Ms. Granoff will be responsible for the Company's specialty retail and outlet stores as well as its e-commerce We bsites in the United States. Ms. Granoff will report to Trudy Sullivan, President, Liz Claiborne Inc.

Commenting on the announcement, Ms. Sullivan said: "Direct-to-consumer is a significant growth engine for Liz Claiborne Inc., accounting for 25 percent of our total revenues in 2005. Our goal is to drive this number to 29% in 2006. We are highly committed to this channel and adding someone with Jill's expertise is exactly what we need to accelerate the momentum we are building. She is a first-rate strategist with an unparalleled understanding of the direct-to-consumer arena. We are thrilled to have her on board."

Ms. Granoff said: "Developing the direct-to-consumer business at Liz Claiborne is an incredible opportunity for me, especially since it is such an important part of the Company's strategy going forward. Before joining Liz Claiborne Inc., Ms. Granoff was President and Chief Operating Officer of Victoria's Secret Beauty, a division of Limited Brands. Prior to that, she was the Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning, Finance and Information Systems for Estee Lauder, Inc. Ms. Granoff began her career as a management consultant in the strategic planning practice at A.T. Kearney, Inc.
