MarketingPilot Software LLC introduced MarketingPilot Web Server release 3 (Web Server 3), an integrated marketing software suite. Web Server 3 provides integrated tools that help marketing professionals manage projects, campaigns, jobs, collateral, design, production, digital assets, products, brands, channels, budgets, and expenses. Web Server 3 tracks and measures responses, results and ROI; improves communications and streamlines processes.
Web 2.0 Technology
Web Server 3 is marketing software that incorporates state-of-the-art Web 2.0 technology. Web 2.0 technology - also known as AJAX - makes our marketing software more 'fluid' and interactive; more like desktop software than a web site. AJAX has also enabled us to make our marketing software significantly faster than previous releases.
Powerful New Features
Release 3 adds these new features:
-- Financial/accounting management functions: Web Server 3 adds a chart of accounts, requests for quotes, purchasing, expense reconciliation, items, estimates, invoicing and time billing.
-- Multiple currencies: Track finances using multiple currencies.
-- Multiple languages: Available in English, French and Spanish.
-- Workflow enhancements including 5-day week date shifting, job time estimates. New job folders enable users to organize jobs better.
-- Time Slips: Track time for tasks, jobs, campaigns, programs and other projects. Time billing is fully supported. Time slip metrics enable you to assess realization and utilization.
-- Project Management: New task dependencies enable users to link tasks together and to start tasks upon completion of a predecessor. New task actions streamline task setup and activity tracking.
-- Contact management: Web Server 3 adds contact activities and opportunities.
-- Online routing and approvals of attachments, campaigns, events, programs, purchase orders, expenses and payment approvals in addition to job, campaign, program, document and digital assets.
