Wilen Group Names New Account Director

Wilen Group, a full-service marketing agency with offices in New York and Florida, continues its expansion with the hiring of an advertising industry veteran in the account director position, it was announced today by Darrin Wilen, President of Wilen Media, a Wilen Group Company.

Robert J. Douglas was named account director for the Wilen Group, responsible for long- and short-term project management and client services, providing collaborative marketing partnerships and ensuring customer retention.

Douglas joins Wilen Group with ten years experience in integrated marketing and brand enhancement. He has held positions as account director at BBDO’s digital agency, Atmosphere, where he worked on such notable brands as AOL, FedEx and Dial Corporation. Prior to that, Douglas served as director of integrated marketing at Young &Rubicam/WPP’s integrated marketing agency, BrandBuzz, on accounts that included LG Mobile, Cadbury Schweppes and Colgate-Palmolive.
