Direct Marketing Veteran Ray Butkus Named President & CEO Automated Resources Group (ARGI)

Automated Resources Group (ARGI), a supplier of database marketing, subscription fulfillment and loyalty marketing services, yesterday announced the appointment of direct marketing veteran Ray Butkus as its new president and chief executive officer. Butkus replaces Richard Ehrlickman who announced in April that he would be stepping down to pursue other interests.

Butkus was most recently president of Donnelley Marketing and The Donnelley Group of InfoUSA. Previously, he was the President and COO of Naviant Marketing Solutions. Butkus brings over 20 years of Direct Marketing experience to the position both as a supplier and on the client side.

Butkus has authored a book, Motivation, Beliefs and Organizational Transformation and numerous articles and scholarly papers. He has delivered speeches around the world on a variety of technology and business topics in the areas of direct marketing, sales management, database marketing, and selling.

He has received a Certificate of Appreciation from the US Small Business Administration and is a winner of Direct Marketing Association’s Silver ECHO Award.

In addition, he serves on several Boards of Directors and Trustees.

Butkus is a graduate of Providence College, Providence RI, holds an MBA from the University of Puget Sound, Tacoma WA, and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
