Informz Adds Experienced Communications Specialist, Sharon Borgos, as eMarketing Advisor

Informz announced that Sharon Borgos of Queensbury recently joined the email marketing service provider as eMarketing Advisor. Ms. Borgos has 7 years of professional experience in the non-profit, marketing and public relations markets.

Prior to coming to Informz, Borgos served as the executive director of The Fund for Lake George where she increased grant funding to the non-profit organization by 200% in one year. Borgos also served as the chief executive Assistant to the Supervisor of the Town of Queensbury and was the Assistant editor of External Communications and feature writer at the international law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P. in Houston, TX. Borgos was also acting host of the “Eye on Lake George” television series sponsored by the Lake George Watershed Conference.

The Texas A&M University Journalism graduate has held other professional marketing and public relations positions and works as an independent event planner and communications and marketing consultant for numerous organizations throughout the Capital Region.

Borgos is currently enrolled in the MBA program at the College of St. Rose in Albany and is expected to complete her degree in 2006.

An active member of the Capital Region community, Borgos is a core member of the team working to develop and create The Aquarium of the Adirondacks. Borgos resides in her hometown of Queensbury.
