OmniTI Computer Consulting, Inc., a worldwide provider of email infrastructure products and services, today announced that it has partnered with Goodmail Systems(TM) to integrate CertifiedEmail, a new class of email to help shield consumers from spam, fraud and phishing, into OmniTI's Ecelerity high-performance email application server solution.

The Goodmail CertifiedEmail service identifies email from accredited senders, marks messages with a trust symbol indicating they are safe to open and assures delivery to the inboxes of intended recipients. America Online, Inc. and Yahoo! Inc. are implementing the CertifiedEmail service as part of their strategy to protect its end users.

With the incorporation of CertifiedEmail into Ecelerity, OmniTI is able to provide its outbound, high-volume customers the opportunity and ability to work within the latest industry authentication standards and improve email deliverability.

"We are pleased to partner with OmniTI, a company who has a reputation as a leading provider of high-performance email infrastructure products and services," said John Ouren, Goodmail's senior vice president of sales and business development. "Senders needing to integrate CertifiedEmail imprinting capabilities into their email infrastructure can be assured with Ecelerity that their email processing meets the highest standards in terms of speed, flexibility, authentication and delivery."

Ecelerity processes more than one million email messages per hour, making it the fastest and most comprehensive email gateway available. Ecelerity's solution portfolio, complete with robust reporting and analytics features, allows organizations to take full advantage of email throughout the business lifecycle. With the incorporation of CertifiedEmail, Ecelerity is also equipped to ensure a higher rate of deliverability to a recipient's inbox, providing greater benefits to legitimate senders.

Each email processed is now embedded with a cryptographically-secure token which must be detected before it can be delivered. The email is clearly labeled with a CertifiedEmail symbol in the user's inbox indicating that the message is from an authentic sender. This is especially important to email marketers sending to customers of AOL and Yahoo! that now require CertifiedEmail requirements.

Barry Abel, OmniTI vice president of sales, said, "With the recent adoption of CertifiedEmail by AOL and Yahoo!, Goodmail is uniquely positioned to solidify its reputation as a premier provider for ensuring email authenticity. Our partnership with Goodmail Systems is a natural extension of our product set and one more way that OmniTI can continue to offer best-in-class technologies to our customers, whether they send or receive."
