Unica Corporation Named a Leader in Enterprise Marketing Platforms Receives top rating for 'Market Presence' and 'Strategy' for B2B and B2C Marketers

Unica(R) Corporation, a global provider of Enterprise Marketing Management (EMM) solutions, today announced that Forrester Research has recognized the company as the sole 'Leader' in its industry report written by Elana Anderson, "The Forrester Wave: Enterprise Marketing Platforms, Q1 2006."(1) Unica is top-ranked in several areas including application usability, installed base, customer references, campaign management, product and corporate strategy, financials, and cost. The company's Affinium(R) Suite also received high ratings for marketing planning and resource management, and interaction planning and lead management capabilities.
According to Forrester's evaluation, "the Affinium Suite consistently receives high marks from end users for having a comprehensive and highly flexible, yet accessible, interface that is 'designed the way a marketer thinks.'"(2)
The report also said Unica has "an exemplary record of solid execution and systematic expansion of the suite that is in line with its strategy to deliver a comprehensive enterprise marketing management solution."(2) Forrester continued, "Unica is a no-brainer for direct-to-consumer firms that want an integrated suite that will grow with them over time."(2) In a recent Forrester survey(3), more than three out of four marketers say that marketing needs a comprehensive, integrated application suite to improve its effectiveness.

To compile the report, Forrester handpicked the top eight vendors to be evaluated against 168 key criteria. Forrester conducted extensive research including vendor surveys, hands-on lab evaluations, user surveys and customer reference calls.
