RightNow® Technologies announced it has won SearchCRM.com’s 2005 Product of the Year award in the “Marketing Automation for SMBs” category.

In naming RightNow Marketing™ the “top dog” in its category, SearchCRM.com cited the solution’s innovative functionality and performance—as well as RightNow’s outstanding customer support.

“What makes RightNow Marketing 7.5 a winner in the eyes of our judge panel is its ability to enable marketing organizations to increase marketing effectiveness with advanced segmentation capabilities, a graphical campaign editor and enhanced click-through and e-mail deliverability reporting,” SearchCRM.com wrote. “Because this is an on-demand product, users can begin creating multi-channel, multi-stage marketing campaigns within days of deploying the product.”

RightNow Marketing is the only marketing automation solution from a full-suite CRM vendor with sufficient functionality and market presence to be included in comparative reviews with standalone offerings by leading industry analysts such as Forrester Research (see today’s announcement: RightNow is Only CRM Vendor Included in Research Firm’s Email Marketing Wave) and Jupiter Research (see October 31, 2005 news release: RightNow Only Full-Suite CRM Vendor on Leading Research Firm’s List of Top Email Service Providers).

“The rapid, broad-based embrace of RightNow Marketing by both CRM buyers and CRM analysts demonstrates beyond a doubt that we have quickly delivered a very practical and compelling solution that provides tangible business value,” Mike Myer, RightNow’s vice president of development and CTO, said. “By maintaining that rigorous focus on tangible value, we will continue to innovate in ways that will enable our customers to execute high-impact campaigns.”
