InPulse Announces IVR Based Blended Sales Solutions

InPulse Response Group announced that it is creating a new operating line group within their company that will focus on providing IVR based blended sales solutions to the Direct Response marketplace.

According to Steve Pittendrigh, InPulse CEO, "We recognize the shift occurring in DR in which, in some cases, when done properly and effectively, a blended Live Agent/IVR approach to handling calls can be cost effective in delivering increased revenue for our clients." "However," he cautioned, "we also recognize that many consumers have become very vocal in their disgust in how many IVR applications are difficult to deal with."

Pittendrigh continued, "We are building an InPulse response approach to IVR, which not only includes a very robust and scalable platform that will incorporate the latest in speech recognition and technology, but will also follow our formula on what we believe to be highly acceptable to the consumer marketplace and includes very few branched options and a live agent option on every call."

"We have several projects in test currently, and expect to be completed with our build out by the end of first quarter; ready to rollout our platform shortly after that. Our entire company will continue, as always, to remain totally focused on continuing to be the leader in sales based telephony solutions. The use of IVR will only be applied when it makes sense for our clients and be beneficial to their caller's," concluded Pittendrigh.

As part of this new initiative, InPulse has hired industry veteran, Ray Golden, to join the company as Senior Vice President of Blended Solutions. His responsibilities will include managing all projects that incorporate the IVR component at InPulse.
