MBS Hires Randall James as Chief Technology Officer

MBS, a provider of advanced direct marketing services, announced that Randall James has joined the company as Chief Technology officer. As CTO, Randy James leads a team of more than 30 IT professionals in the strategic design, development, and delivery of MBS’ marketing automation solutions.
Randy brings 25 years of experience to MBS. Throughout his career as an Information Technology Executive, Randy has established a track record of partnering with clients and technology providers to implement reliable, cost-effective infrastructure and high-impact business applications. He was most recently employed at Americo Life Inc., where he acted as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for six years.
A true visionary, Randy’s achievements include developing Americo’s first strategic technology plan, implementing state-of-the-art business intelligence applications, and developing and executing a plan to completely overhaul, consolidate, and centralize the IT department. He was recognized as one of the world’s Top 100 IT Leaders in 2004 by Computerworld magazine.

Randy holds a B.S. from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York, and graduated as a Hotchkiss Scholar, with an MBA, from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
