Firstlogic, Inc., a global provider of enterprise information quality solutions, announced that AXIS Database Marketing Group, Inc., Toronto, Ont. CA, an integrated technology and marketing services organization providing customer centric marketing, has standardized on the Firstlogic IQ8 enterprise environment for data quality services.
With IQ8, AXIS can better manage the volumes of data essential to the database marketing and Customer Relationship Management services they host for their clients, including pharmaceutical, financial, telecommunications businesses and Fortune 500 customers. AXIS purchased IQ8 from SQLiaison, a premier Canadian business intelligence solutions and analytical applications expert that recently was appointed as a Firstlogic Global Channel Partner for Canada.
AXIS develops and implements multi-channel customer contact solutions through database development, hosting and management. According to AXIS Vice President and Managing Director Robert Barnes, accessing and analyzing customer and consumer data is one of the most prevalent challenges in business today. Complicating the issue are multiple end user groups with varying information needs. "The task of turning vast amounts of data into intelligent, actionable information can be daunting," Barnes said. "We view our use of Firstlogic's IQ8 as a competitive differentiator for us, which translates into a competitive differentiator for our clients as well."
As the core of AXIS' broad service offerings, IQ8 helps create unique views of each customer, prospect or suspect contained in the multi-million record databases it creates and maintains for its clients. "Whether our clients require cleansing of files or database construction applying sophisticated data-driven business rules and algorithms for linking customers, households and business entities, we use IQ8 to ensure consistent and accurate results," Barnes said.
IQ8 enables AXIS to perform advanced customer behavioral analysis, modeling, geographic analysis, data mining and campaign management, as well as reliable customer segmentation. According to Barnes, the paybacks have been immediate and significant. "IQ8 is enabling us to deliver superior results to our clients both in the form of improved target marketing programs as well as a major reduction in costs associated with streamlining outbound activity and saved infrastructure costs," Barnes said. "We are able to pass these savings directly on to our clients."
Prior to adopting IQ8, AXIS relied on using processes developed internally to manage its data quality. While successful, they were not optimal, and definitely not easily repeatable. "IQ8 takes us to the next level in terms of implementing a comprehensive data quality strategy that we can leverage across multiple projects on behalf of multiple clients," Barnes said. "As we are currently ramping up our business, we are developing more complex marketing initiatives and the ability to leverage our data quality processes in a repeatable way is a major win for us."
